So what changed your mind...?

I haven`t changed my mind, I`m reconsidering my options at the moment given

I`ve got it back for a lot less than I was expecting it to be.

I need to make sure the engine is fine before I do anything else, plus I`ve

asked for a copy of the estimate they`ve used to write it off to see what

the official opinion is on what needs to be done to repair it properly.

I`m making a custom loom for an engine that`s going to run third party

management. I`ve got all my cabling and bits `n` bobs, but I can`t find

anywhere to buy the Bosch connectors that are used on injectors and various

other sensors.

I don`t want to use the horrible old, dirty ones from the old loom. Anyone

know a decent place?

My brother and I were watching an episode of Top Gear this afternoon, and we were discussing why Singapore never had a Holden VXR.

Yes, despite it being a V8 5.6L engine, it still one of the cheapest around, with a supercharger at less than S$70,000. If you had seen one of Top Gear Australia (they feature Holdens all the bloody time), the supercharger’s whine is simply orgasmic – on top of the deep bellow of the V8. Closer rivals are the Chysler 300C, and Jaguar… something.

All produce about 340-400 bhp, enough to pull the entire Singapore to Melbourne.

So why isn’t anybody importing the VXR?
